How much would you willing to pay for an original set of the Harry Potter books signed by none other than J.K. Rowling herself? Well, we know have an idea of how much you'd have to put up to add such a collection to your shelf.

On an auction site selling a variety of rare and valuable collectibles, the original set of the seven hardcover Harry Potter books, four of which are autographed by Rowling, recently sold for a whopping $26,250.

The set contains the first American edition printings of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows. Mind you, only the first for novels in the collection are signed by Rowling, with books five through seven remain just the same as any other copy.

Nevertheless, that's four autographs from the author behind what has proven to be one of the most definitive pop culture phenomenons of the 21st century. And at an upward of $25,000, it set the winning bidder back a fair amount. Though, you can't say they aren't dedicated.
