Fans have been enthralled by the Harry Potter franchise. Books, movies, video games, apparel, and even theme parks based on the wizarding world have all become part of the cultural zeitgeist. Fans even take quizzes to find out their Hogwarts house. Harry Potter is incredibly popular, but another franchise has been steadily gaining traction since 2016.

My Hero Academia burst onto the scene as one of the most popular shonen series. The power systems and the dynamic characters made for an anime that fans can't get enough of. Much like Harry Potter, My Hero Academia fans have been taking quizzes to find out their Quirks. Some have taken it a step farther and considered which Quirks would best suit characters from other franchises - including Harry Potter.

10 Lord Voldemort Is A Soul Splitter

Lord Voldemort from Harry Potter

Voldemort is the long-time villain of the Harry Potter series. He has no compassion for anyone and has no respect for human life. Therefore, Voldemort would need a Quirk that fits his sinister personality. Soul-Splitter is the perfect Quirk for Voldemort because it emphasizes his despicable habit of rending his soul into Horcruxes.

Voldemort could extract non-corporeal images of himself that would inhabit people he could control as extensions of himself. Like in Harry Potter, Voldemort would only be able to conjure six visages (with himself being the seventh). Voldemort could cause copious carnage with this new ability.

9 Albus Dumbledore Practices Emotion Erasure

Albus Dumbledore played by Richard Harris from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

Albus Dumbledore is the Headmaster of Hogwarts for most of the Harry Potter series. His soft and calm demeanor makes him seem approachable to staff and students alike. Practically every character agrees that there is something peaceful about Dumbledore's presence that makes him trustworthy.

Emotion Erasure seems to be the ideal Quirk for a man like Dumbledore. The power to erase the volatile emotions of anyone with whom he comes into contact would be an advantage in any fight. By placing a gentle hand on an enemy, he could instantly relax them. He could also use his power to gain the trust of those he needs information from. Dumbledore's powers of comfort would easily convert enemies to his side.

8 Minerva McGonagall Is A Feline

Minerva McGonagall from Harry Potter

Minerva McGonagall is the Head of Gryffindor House and the Transfiguration professor. She is also what is known as an Animagus in the Harry Potter franchise, a person who transforms into an animal. In McGonagall's case, she turns into a cat.

This makes it obvious that her quirk should be Feline. Like Tsuyu Asui's Frog Quirk in My Hero Academia, McGonagall would be able to do anything a cat could do. She would have heightened senses of sight and hearing, as well as the use of her claws as weapons. She would also be resilient to falls and could use her claws for enhanced grip. Knowing McGonagall, she would probably have nine lives as well.

7 Luna Lovegood Has Second Sight

Luna Lovegood lifted her goggles in Harry Potter

Luna Lovegood's love for all things cryptic and strange is well documented throughout the series. She is also one of the most intelligent characters. As such, it would be imperative for Luna to have a Quirk that deals with perception.

Second Sight would be similar to Mei Hatsume's Zoom and Ragdoll's Search. Second Sight would give Luna an inhuman perception. She would be able to see and perceive things no one else could - much like the Nargles. This heightened perception would give Luna the upper hand in any battle as she would notice weak points and infinitesimal changes that she could use to her advantage. Second Sight would help Luna learn more about her world.

6 Neville Longbottom Grows Up

Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter

Neville Longbottom's tragic past mimics Harry Potter's childhood - to the point that many thought he might be the one to vanquish Voldemort. Even though Harry turned out to be the "chosen one", Neville never backed down from a challenge - even against his friends.

Neville's Quirk - Grow - would be used in conjunction with plant life. Since Neville has such an affinity for Herbology and botany, Neville could cause existing seeds and plants to grow exponentially. This would allow him to trap his enemies or create a vastly unfamiliar terrain that they could not navigate. Neville's affinity for plants would help him stand up against even the greatest foes.

5 Draco Malfoy Is Lost

Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Although he is considered a villain for most of the story, Draco Malfoy is one of the more tragic characters. After being pressured to join the Death Eaters by his powerful family, the heavy task of eliminating Dumbledore falls to him. He is not the most pleasant person, but even Draco does not want to physically harm others.

The Quirk that would best fit Draco is Lost. This power would grant him the ability to make anything - or anyone - disappear without a trace. Much like how he chooses to hide in the Room of Requirement when he wants to get away, Draco could use his power to vanish things forever. Just like being a Death Eater in Harry Potter, this Quirk would come with great responsibility that Draco would have to shoulder. Draco's Quirk would be a reflection of himself: Lost.

4 Severus Snape Gives An Unbreakable Vow

Severus Snape from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

Severus Snape is a shifty character who isn't trusted by any of the main characters. However, as the series goes on, Harry and the others discover that Snape's true goal is to protect Harry. He even enters into a vow with Narcissa to protect Draco when she sees that the Death Eaters are becoming more dangerous.

Snape's Quirk should be Unbreakable Vow. He would be obligated to carry out any promise that he made to any person until that person released him from it. Snape would have to be extremely careful with a Quirk like this. Even so, his thoughtfulness and dedication to the causes he believes in would make Unbreakable Vow the ideal Quirk for him.

3 Ron Weasley's Friends Hype Him Up

Ron Weasley is not necessarily the strongest character, but he is loyal and kind. When he is with his friends, he can do anything. With his friends' support, he was able to defeat a giant game of Wizard's Chess, as well as acquire the Keeper position on their house Quidditch team.

Therefore, the perfect Quirk for Ron Weasley is Hype. This Quirk would allow Ron to grow stronger the more people believe in him. Much like how La Brava's Quirk worked with Gentle, Ron's friends could hype him up with encouragement to make him nearly invincible. The power of friendship was never so great as it is with Ron.

2 Hermione Granger Rewinds Time

Hermione Granger from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Hermione Granger has always had a lot on her plate. Being from a Muggle family, she often feels that she needs to prove herself, and does so by being the smartest person in the room. In her third year at Hogwarts, she even went as far as acquiring a Time Turner so that she could attend more classes.

Like the Time Turner, Hermione's Quirk - Rewind - would allow her to go back in time. The stipulation would be that she can only go back within her lifetime. Hermione could use this Quirk to gain more scholastic knowledge and to gather intelligence from previous experiences that would help her in her present-day position. Rewind would allow Hermione even more insight into her magical world.

1 Harry Potter's Quirk Has Always Been Luck

Harry Potter riding a Buckbeak the hippogriff in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Harry Potter - the titular character and protagonist of the franchise - has been surrounded by his best friends and mentors since he joined Hogwarts. He is also exceedingly lucky throughout the series, appearing to fall right into favor when he needs it the most.

Therefore, Harry's Quirk would be Luck. This power would be activated any time Harry felt stressed. Similar to Re-Destro, the more stressed Harry felt, the luckier he would become. His hits would land more frequently and his dodges would be more successful. Harry has always been lucky, but with a Quirk like Luck, it would be an innate part of him.
