Harrison Ford may be out of commission for as many as eight weeks after breaking his ankle Thursday on the London set of Star Wars: Episode VII, the Mirror reports. Director J.J. Abrams will continue shooting while the 71-year-old actor recuperates, keeping the production on schedule.

Ford reportedly was injured by the door of the Millennium Falcon and taken to a local hospital.

The actor is joined in Episode VII by his original co-stars Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker, as well as newcomers John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie. The film opens Dec. 18, 2015.
