Three years after his last aviation faux pas, it was revealed that Star Wars actor Harrison Ford was involved in another airplane incident last week.

The incident occurred on April 24 as the actor's plane was taking off at the Hawthorne Airport in Los Angeles, according to CNN. His plane crossed paths with another aircraft which was trying to land.

Ford admitted fault for the incident. A representative for the actor told CNN, "Mr. Ford crossed the airport's only runway in his aircraft after he misheard a radio instruction from ATC. He immediately acknowledged the mistake and apologized to ATC for the error... No one was injured and there was never any danger of a collision."

This was not the first time Ford was involved in a dangerous aviation situation. In 2015, he had to make an emergency landing on a golf course after his plane's engine failed, which resulted in his hospitalization. Another incident occurred in 2017 when he overflew a Boeing 737 as he was landing another plane.

The FAA has stepped in to investigate the occurrence. The federal flight organization stated, "The FAA is investigating an incident in which the pilot of an Aviat Husky taxied across the runway at Hawthorne Municipal Airport Friday afternoon while another aircraft was performing a touch-and-go landing."

Ford is a longtime aviation hobbyist. In Hollywood he's known for playing a number of popular action movie characters, often with a daredevil attitude. Among his most famous roles is, appropriately, the starship pilot Han Solo, but his fictional counterpart seems to have better luck or more skill when it comes to flying.
