The first trailer for DC Universe's upcoming Harley Quinn animated series teases some of the misadventures the Clown Princess of Crime is going to get into when she hits the streaming service later this year.
After having showed the pilot episode earlier, the trailer was revealed during the DC Universe presentation at Comic-Con International in San Diego. The footage features the titular heroine as well as many of her supporting characters, including The Joker and Poison Ivy. Batman, Kite Man, Aquaman and many other heroes and villains make an appearance over the course of trailer.
Created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, Harley Quinn first appeared in Batman The Animated Series before making her first incontinuity appearance in Batman: Harley Quinn #1 in 1999. The immensely popular anti-hero has become one of the cornerstones of DC, with various solo series to her names and several upcoming movies set to focus heavily on Quinn, as played by Margot Robbie.
DC Universe's Harley Quinn stars Kaley Cuoco, Lake Bell, Diedrich Bader, Alan Tudyk, Rahul Kohli, Christopher Meloni, Tony Hale, Ron Funches, Wanda Sykes, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Giancarlo Esposito, Jason Alexander and J.B. Smoove. The series slated to premiere in October.
