WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Harley Quinn Season 2, Episode 13, "The Runaway Bridesmaid," now streaming on DC Universe.

Season 2 of Harley Quinn has been chaotic for Harley because not only has she moved out of Joker's shadow, but she's also finally understood what it means to truly love someone. Unfortunately, Poison Ivy hasn't returned the favor, so the unrequited feelings do make Harley a bit more erratic.

However, in the finale, it seems that Harley and Ivy have finally found their way to each other, but it comes at a price. After all, with Ivy denying her emotions all this time, Kite Man fell deeper in love with he each passing episode, until it all comes to a head here.

The Wedding Crashes

Commissioner Jim Gordon is bitter he didn't get a key to the city, and after being played by Two-Face, he wants to show up the Justice League. He has his ragtag band of cops infiltrate Ivy and Kite Man's wedding at the Gotham corn factory, disguised as service staff. Gordon pretends to be the priest because he knows once he can make this bust and take down the villains attending, it'll make headlines, and he will have a stronger shot at running for mayor.

He invites the media, as he wants to hog the spotlight, but Two-Face plays another hand, asking Harley to help break him out of Arkham. In exchange, he confesses Gordon is making the raid, so Harley decides to escape with him, all so she can save her best friend's wedding. Little does she know that Kite Man doesn't want her there after realizing, thanks to Dr. Psycho, that Ivy and Harley slept together a couple times.

Kite Man swallows his pride and proceeds with the wedding, but when Harley realizes the staff is bogus, she heads back in. After getting decked by bridesmaid Jen, Harley knocks a waiter out, and with all the criminals in attendance, chaos and fire break out. They see the cop's uniform when Harley exposes it, which ruins Gordon's element of surprise and leaves him short of his glorious moment.

Harley and Ivy... Forever

Gordon has rigged the wedding with gas bombs and artificial plants, so Ivy can't save herself, fiance or wedding guests. As Gordon cuffs Ivy and Kite Man together, Harley jacks a mask and saves the duo, running away with the couple. As the gas wears off, the villains strike back, forcing Gordon to flee like a coward on live TV. More so, the goons begin killing off the cops, with the likes of Bane, Black Manta, Cheetah and King Shark ripping them apart.

Ivy, Kite Man and Harley take cover, and Harley admits she can marry them since she's an ordained minister. However, Kite Man shocks everyone by proclaiming, "Hell no," because when the vows were exchanged, he could tell Ivy's heart wasn't in it. He knows she loves him, but she's not in love like he is, and he's angry at himself for living in such denial for so long. Kite Man flies off, wishing Ivy all the best after reminding her he deserves better.

This annoys Ivy, but as she and Harley jump in the wedding car to escape, it's clear they belong together. Ivy thanks Harley for returning to save her, even after the plant queen told her she wasn't welcome anymore, but Harley says it's no big deal. Ivy touts up how much growth and responsibility Harley's shown, admitting this is the woman she wants. They both confess their love, and after driving around the parking lot and crashing through the church, they escape onto the main road leading back to Gotham. With their allies left behind fighting the police, as Gordon's troops give chase, they kiss as they go on the run, finally embracing that they're soul mates.
