Those in attendance at this year's C2E2 event were treated to the first look at what's to come in Season 2 of the popular DC Universe animated series, Harley Quinn

The Harley Quinn animated series initially premiered on the DC Universe streaming service on Nov. 29, 2019 and offered a humorous take on the city of Gotham and its many villains. The first season featured 13 episodes and centered around Harley Quinn's journey towards joining the Legion of Doom after parting ways with the Joker. The series also showed Harley putting together her own ragtag group of bad guys, which included King Shark, Sy Borgman, Clayface, Poison Ivy and Doctor Psycho.

Recent reports have mentioned that both Alfred Molina and Sanaa Lathan were cast as Dr. Freeze and Catwoman, respectively. It has also been mentioned that the second season will feature 13 episodes, though there are no official details on the upcoming storyline.

Held from Feb. 28 to Mar. 1 2020, C2E2, or the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo, features a variety of guests, including comic artists, writers, voice actors and more. This year's guest list includes Avengers: Endgame's Mark Ruffalo, The Boys' Karl Urban, The Umbrella Academy's Emmy Raver-Lampman and Arrow's Steve Amell.

DC Universe's Harley Quinn stars Kaley Cuoco, Lake Bell, Diedrich Bader, Alan Tudyk, Rahul Kohli, Christopher Meloni, Tony Hale, Ron Funches, Wanda Sykes, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Giancarlo Esposito, Jason Alexander and J.B. Smoove. Season 2 premieres Friday, April 3.
