Harley Quinn is about to screw up the entire DC Universe in a new limited series, Multiversity: Harley Screws Up the DCU.

Announced during the "DC’s Gotham City" panel at New York Comic Con on Oct. 9, Multiversity: Harley Screws Up the DCU is a new six-issue limited series from writer Frank Tieri and artist Logan Faerber. While details are sparse at this time, the series launches in March 2023. "This series is shaping up to be a roller coaster ride from start to finish, and Harley wouldn’t have it any other way!" DC teased. Cover art created by Faerber revealed during the panel sees Harley shrugging her shoulders while standing around an array of DC iconography, including a destroyed Batmobile, the "Death of Superman" cape flying in the wind a damaged Helmet of Nabu and more. Famed Harley Quinn artist Amanda Conner will also provide cover art.

Harley Quinn Is About to Screw Up the Entire DC Multiverse

At the panel, Tieri also teased the plot of the new title, revealing that it will involve time travel. The story depicts Harley back in Coney Island, where she discovers that she inherited a time machine. However, after using the device for a quick trip back in time, she unwittingly returns to an altered version of the present, in which the DC Universe is under the control of Starro the Conqueror. The timeline damage is so extensive that it even managed to "screw up" the formative origin events for all of DC’s heroes. Thus, Harley must find a way to undo the chronological catastrophe.

Harley Quinn Heads to the Multiverse

Harley Quinn's solo series has recently launched a new storyline that will also send her flying into the DC Universe. In Harley Quin #22, Harley was murdered by an unseen culprit. She was brought back to life after her friend, Kevin, convinced Angel Breaker of the League of Shadows to bring her back to life with a Lazarus Pit; however, the resurrection process only made Harley all the more aggigated as something with the Lazarus Pits still appears to be wrong. DC first hinted something seems to have corrupted the pits following the events of "Shadow War" when Deathstroke/Slade Wilson came back angrier than ever, which then leads into the ongoing Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths event.

Now hellbent on figuring out the idenity of her mysterious killer, Harley Quinn #25 -- which releases Dec. 27 and features art by Stephanie Phillips with art by Matteo Lolli -- will see her venture into the Multiverse and meet dozens of different versions of herself, including a Harley Who Laughs. The synopsis for the issue reads, "There can be only one Harley Quinn…or, ya know, maybe like 100? The Multiverse is a strange place. Old Lady Harley, Harley Who Laughs, Harley who joined a bowling league in Indiana for the free chicken wings…we’ve got the whole gang together and we’re ready to put the fun in this Multiversal murder mystery, and maybe also cause more murder with a side of mayhem. Join the team for an epic 25th issue of Harley Quinn!"
