What We Know About Harley Quinn Season 3

At the end of Harley Quinn Season 2, the titular Clown Princess of Crime and Poison Ivy officially began a relationship, though they soon found themselves pursued by Jim Gordon. Their adventures between the events of Season 2 and Season 3 were revealed in a six-issue prequel series titled Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: The Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour, which is currently available to read on DC Universe Infinite for subscribers to that platform.

Harley Quinn Season 3 will, as the trailer shows, see Poison Ivy attempting to remake Gotham City, though this will seemingly lead to tension with her new girlfriend. Harvey Guillén, who is best known for his role as Guillermo de la Cruz on FX's What We Do in the Shadows, will play Dick Grayson/Nightwing in the series. Additionally, the Court of Owls, one of Batman's most popular foes from the comics, will also have some role in the series, though just what remains unclear at this time.

Following DC Universe's restructuring and increased focus on comics over streaming series, the show moved to HBO Max. There's currently a spinoff series in the works. Titled Noonan's, that show focuses on Poison Ivy's former love interest, Chuck Brown/Kite Man and will see him getting control of the titular seedy bar alongside Golden Glider.

Harley Quinn Season 3 premieres on Thursday, July 28, on HBO Max. The show stars Kaley Cuoco as Harley Quinn, Lake Bell as Poison Ivy and Alan Tudyk as Joker.
