Telltale's Batman: The Enemy Within has brought fans new interpretations of a number of classic villains, from the Penguin to Riddler to the Joker -- well, he's technically John Doe, for the moment -- so it was only a matter of time before Harley Quinn showed up to make things complicated for the Dark Knight. Thankfully, it'll be pretty soon, as Harley will be making her debut in the Telltale universe in the game's upcoming second episode, "The Pact."

Telltale made the announcement today at Gamescom, promising a version of Harley that is "an interpretation that of the character that captures her essential qualities while still framing her in a new way." The developers hope that the dynamic between her and Doe proves to be intriguing. While the look the developer has given her certainly keeps in line with how she's appeared in the comics as of late -- she even brought her trusty baseball bat along -- it's also one that's distinctive to Telltale's expanding Batman universe.
