On the DC Universe app, fans already have a trio of live action shows to enjoy in Titans, Doom Patrol and the soon-to-be-released Swamp Thing, as well as the animated Young Justice: Outsiders. What's more, this fall will also bring the animated adventures of Harley Quinn to the streaming service.
While few details have been revealed about the upcoming series, Kaley Cuoco, who will voice Harleen Quinzel herself in the show, has shared a new piece of artwork from Harley Quinn.
The artwork features a close-up shot of Harley swinging her signature bat, the blood splatter from the hit revealing the "Fall 2019" release window. However, what's most revealing about this artwork is Harley's look. Previously, a teaser trailer showed Harley incarcerated in Arkham Asylum and wearing her classic court jester mask, but this keyframe reveals Harley may adopt her New 52 look, which rose in popularity following the release of 2016's Suicide Squad film.
DC Universe's Harley Quinn stars Kaley Cuoco, Lake Bell, Diedrich Bader, Alan Tudyk, Rahul Kohli, Christopher Meloni, Tony Hale, Ron Funches, Wanda Sykes, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Giancarlo Esposito, Jason Alexander and J.B. Smoove. The series slated to premiere in October.
