Harley Quinn will be receiving a new ongoing series in 2021, alongside a new costume.

Designed by incoming series artist Riley Rossmo, the costume features the same red and black color scheme that has defined most of Harley's outfits. It consists of a tank top and pants, with white socks and red and black platform heels. Harley's signature pigtails feature red-and black ribbons, and she's wielding a baseball bat.

In the solicitations for Harley Quinn #1, Harley's narration says that she is looking to redeem herself after the events of Joker War. Writer Stephanie Phillips will take over the title, with Rossmo on art. Phillips will be writing a DC Future State story focused on Harley, as well as a story in the upcoming Batman: Urban Legends anthology.

Derrick Chew will provide a variant for Harley Quinn #1 which features Harley surrounded by various figures, including Batman and the Joker's newest henchwoman Punchline. Phillips previously revealed a variant cover by Yoshitaka Amano on Twitter. Amano has worked on multiple manga including Speed Racer.

Harley Quinn here to let everyone know that I got a brand-new monthly series here with a brand-new status quo. I’m coming back to Gotham City to make up for the sins of my past, and help the city recover from “The Joker War”!
  • But there’s no welcoming committee waiting for me, your favorite Maid of Mischief! And between you and me, some real creeps are working to keep the city broken. We can’t let that happen, can we? Rising-star writer Stephanie Phillips, my new partner in crime, takes me into a bold new era with her partner in artistic crime Riley Rossmo, who I gotta say designed a real nice new costume for me. You’re not gonna wanna miss this one, folks!

Harley Quinn #1 will go on sale on March 23, 2021. The issue is part of DC's Infinite Frontier initiative, which begins in March and sees several new creative teams boarding DC's ongoing titles.
