Today at the DC Universe panel at New York Comic Con, the actor who will voice Harley Quinn on the streaming service’s upcoming animated series, Kaley Cuoco, revealed the rest of the series’ voice cast. The list is nothing short of star-studded.
The cast includes the likes of Lake Bell (In a World…, Wet Hot American Summer series, Children’s Hospital), Alan Tudyk (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Ron Funches (Powerless), JB Smoove (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Jason Alexander (Seinfeld), Wanda Sykes (Black-ish), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Natalie Morales (Bojack Horseman), Jim Rash (Mike Tyson Mysteries), Diedrich Bader (Veep), Tony Hale (Arrested Development, Veep) and Chris Meloni (Happy!, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit). Bader will voice Batman.
Cuoco herself is known for her comedic work on The Big Bang Theory. A first-look video for the series, also revealed at NYCC, set the tone. The video sees Harley and Poison Ivy sharing a cell in Arkham Asylum, with Harley occupying the role of an excitable supervillain, while Poison Ivy is ready to rain on just about anyone’s parade. A previous report revealed that Harley and Poison Ivy will be gunning for a seat at the Legion of Doom roundtable when the series debuts.
Written and executive produced by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey for Warner Bros. Animation, the 26-episode first season of Harley Quinn arrives next year on DC Universe.
