HBO Max is kicking off the month of August by adding both seasons of DC Universe's adult-oriented Harley Quinn animated series to its catalog.

Late last month, it was announced that Seasons 1 and 2 of Harley Quinn would be making the jump to WarnerMedia's new streaming service sometime this summer. In a release detailing all of the arriving and departing content for the month of August, HBO Max confirmed Harley Quinn would begin streaming on the platform Saturday, Aug. 1.

Harley Quinn is the second DC Universe original series to stream on HBO Max, the first being the live-action Doom Patrol. The key difference is that the latter is now essentially an HBO Max co-original, with Doom Patrol Season 2 set to launch on both services simultaneously. For the time being, this does not appear to be the case with Harley Quinn. Furthermore, while the animated series' showrunners have discussed story plans for a potential Season 3, official word on a renewal remains elusive.

Of course, this is not the first time Harley Quinn has expanded beyond its home platform of DC Universe. The show's very first episode previously aired on TBS as part of a promotional event, with the entirety of Season 1 later airing on Syfy.
