WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Batman #103, by James Tynion IV, Carlo Pagulayan, Danny Miki, Guillem March, David Baron, and Clayton Cowles, on sale now.

Harley Quinn has been a fan-favorite character ever since she was first introduced in Batman: The Animated Series. In fact, she is now considered just as marketable at DC’s classic Trinity of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman.

Recently, Harley moved into a new apartment in Gotham’s Little Santa Prisca neighborhood. As it turns out, her new home address is quite shocking, and a perfect easter egg for fans of BTAS and the DC Animated Universe.

The revelation takes place right after Clownhunter bursts into Harley’s apartment, attacking her for having previously been one of Joker’s associates. She easily dodges his attacks, poking fun at him all the while, but their fight is interrupted when Batman crashes through the window a moment later, impaled by a pair of swords. Harley uses the distraction to subdue and hogtie Clownhunter, but then she realizes just how bad Batman’s injuries are. Bending over his bleeding body, Harley leans in close and speaks to the “people who listen into Batman’s head radio thing” (which in this situation would be Oracle). She explains that the Dark Knight’s wounds are severe he will need immediate medical support, so gives her home address: 93 Timm Street in Little Santa Prisca.

This is a pretty clear reference to Bruce Timm, who (along with Paul Dini) created Harley Quinn. In fact, Timm is credited as the main creator and developer of BTAS and the rest of the DCAU, developing some major characters, though Harley has had the biggest impact by far. Harley’s first appearance was as Joker’s sidekick and lover in the BTAS episode “Joker’s Favor,” which aired September 6, 1992, but she would make her first comics appearance in 1993’s The Batman Adventures #12 by Dan Slott, Ty Templeton, and Rick Burchett hence why she lives at 93 Timm Street.

Harley has evolved a lot over the years. Her friendship with fellow femme fatale Poison Ivy was explored in the animated series and included some queer-coded undertones, but their romance has since been overtly acknowledged with Harley even proposing to Poison Ivy. During the recent "Joker War" a garden that Ivy had grown was destroyed, one specifically made as an Edenic getaway for the two of them to enjoy together as lovers. Missing Ivy (who she has not seen in some time) and grappling with the stress of having recently confronted her abusive ex the Joker, Harley had hoped this new apartment of hers would provide her with a fresh start. She even bribed her landlord by offering him double rent to acquire the place.

Unfortunately, this does not last. Shortly after Clownhunter and a wounded Batman crash into her place, they are both followed by Batman's newest enemy, Ghost-Maker. With her home in shambles and her personal address exposed, it seems she will have to leave this new home behind.
