Happy Holidays from CBR!

It's that's time of year again -- whether you celebrate Christmas or you don't, you'll likely find yourself with some time off this weekend to spend with family or friends, shoveling snow, at a Chinese restaurant, watching movies or any of a number of holiday traditions. The same goes for the staff and family of CBR, so we're going to take a little time off, too! We're closing down our operations at Noon Pacific today so everyone can spend some extra time preparing for the madness of this Christmas weekend! We'll be back with a handful of stories for you this Sunday, December 26, then full strength on Monday, December 27 and wow, do we have some fun stuff for you next week, including a video reel of many of our Comic-Con International guests playing, wait for it, the kazoo! It's quite wacky!

Me, I'll be spending a lot of time cooking and baking -- this year I decided to sign up for not just making the traditional home made cheesecake for desert, but also chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies and some appetizers. I'm not sure who's in bigger trouble, me for having to cook all that food or my family for having to eat it!

If you find yourself bored this Christmas and in need of something to do, why not stop by the CBR Forums! Join the discussion in one of the largest comics communities on the Web. A great place to start is the Community Forum or if discussing the merits of "Who would win in a battle between ..." is your cup of tea, then the Comic Book Rumbles forum is the place for you! We've also got company specific forums and many other topics covered, so register today and join the discussion!

Before I let you go, I figure it's time to remind you where you can find CBR and its affiliated sites on the social network thingies:

I think that about does it. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from all of us here at CBR!
