After directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller's shocking exit from the upcoming Star Wars Han Solo anthology film, worrying reports about Alden Ehrenreich's performance have surfaced online. However, a new report hopes to put the breaks on the rumors with different insider knowledge.According to yesterday's report, Lucasfilm brass hasn't been entirely happy with the performance of Ehrenreich in the upcoming Han Solo Star Wars film. Lucasfilm reportedly decided to hire an acting coach for Ehrenreich late in production, which is an unusual move. The rumors about the troubles surrounding the Han Solo film caught fire after The Hollywood Reporter's bombshell report detailing behind-the-scenes issues on the film, including the abrupt firing of Lord and Miller. The film's official release date is May 25, 2018, which should hopefully give Lucasfilm more than enough time to put the final Star Wars polish on the project.

The Han Solo spin-off film is now under the direction of Ron Howard and will also feature the talents of Woody Harrelson, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Thandie Newton, Michael Kenneth Williams and Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca.
