Han Solo & Chewbacca Strike Back For Star Wars Event

The Millennium Falcon is jumping to lightspeed one last time.

Hero Complex reports that Peter Mayhew, the actor behind the furry Wookie known as Chewbacca, will reunite with Harrison Ford at the ArcLight Hollywood this Wednesday night for a digital screening of The Empire Strikes Back in celebration of the movie's 30th anniversary. Other Star Wars veterans are expected to attend.

Following the screening, Geoff Boucher of The Los Angeles Times will conduct a rare Q&A session with Ford about his work as Han Solo in the Star Wars saga. Ford typically shies away from the Star Wars scene, but as all proceeds from the ArcLight event are being donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as part of Lucasfilms' yearlong The Empire Gives Back charity campaign, the actor made an exception.

Tickets for the live Ford interview are sold out, though there are tickets available for a secondary screening of the Q&A.
