Hamill is known for his humorous Tweets and has often been a vocal critic of President Trump, leveraging his considerable clout among Star Wars fans to platform his political opinions, such as telling Trump to #GoForceYourself. This time, he appears to be commenting on Trump’s recent slew of Presidential pardons, including that of former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.

The Star Wars Holiday Special is known for being reviled by nearly everyone, including fans who love everything else that the franchise has ever produced. Although Hamill starred in the movie, he's apparently still able to see the humor in its reputation.

All told, the Star Wars Holiday Special probably doesn’t deserve the president’s powers of commutation, but stranger things have happened!
