The latest installment in the popular Halloween franchise is continuing to earn millions at the box office worldwide and it appears to already have a home video release date scheduled for early next year.
An exclusive steelbook through Best Buy is available for preorder through their website with a release date set for January 15, 2019. While the listing does not mention what special features are included in the release, it will arrive on two discs, one on Blu-ray and the other in 4K/UHD while the cover sports the Bill Sienkiewicz poster first unveiled this past July at Comic-Con International in San Diego.

Historically, Blumhouse Productions films are available to purchase on digital HD through most online video services two to three weeks in advance of the physical release. This puts a digital release on either December 25 or January 1.
The new Halloween is already the highest earning entry in the long running slasher franchise with $142.72 million earned at the domestic box office as of yesterday. With an additional $46 million earned overseas, the film is projected to earn just over $200 million at the worldwide box office with around $170 million of its earnings domestic. This places it as the second highest earning Blumhouse film domestically behind last year's Get Out which earned $176 million at the domestic box office.
