Halloween: Michael Myers Attacks Laurie Strode in New Clip

In a little over two weeks, Halloween opens in theaters everywhere and the upcoming revival has released a scene from the film.

The clip has original franchise star and definitive scream queen Laurie Strode barricading herself in her home after watching the iconic masked killer Michael Myers claim another victim outside.

"Michael's here, get downstairs!" shouts Laurie at her adult daughter Karen (Judy Greer) as she readies a shotgun and bolts the door.

Leaning against her front door for a confrontation 40 years in the making, Laurie is surprised when Michael makes his sudden, violent entrance as John Carpenter's familiar score swells in the background.

With the two original film's characters reunited once again on the anniversary of the classic 1978 slasher film, the revival looks to be a rematch for the ages.

Debuting on October 19, the latest Halloween is directed by David Gordon Green from a script written with Danny McBride and Jeff Fradley. The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, and Andi Matichak with Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney sharing the role of masked killer Michael Myers. The film is executive produced and scored by original filmmaker John Carpenter.
