Masked slasher Michael Myers first debuted in 1978's Halloween, where he carved his way through the suburbs of Haddonfield in his quest to kill teenage babysitter Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis). Michael continued to appear in six Halloween sequels, two reboot movies and two additional sequels/reboots. His latest appearance will be in the upcoming Halloween Kills.

This isn't the first time Michael has been spotted in the wild. A few weeks ago, lawyer Mark Metzger dressed up as the iconic slasher and walked along the beaches of Galveston, TX, ahead of the arrival of Hurricane Nicholas. Metzger said his goal was to create some levity in the midst of a natural disaster, but admitted some people may not have gotten the joke. "I just don't think they appreciate it that much," he said after he was arrested by Galveston police. "I guess there's some people out there that don't have a sense of humor or, you know, can't please them all."

Halloween Kills will play in theaters and stream on Peacock on October 15.
