WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Halloween Kills, now playing in theaters and available through Peacock.

In Halloween Kills, Michael Myers shakes the franchise up and cuts loose in the scariest manner ever. He's really empowered, basking in the gory glory of all his murders in a way we've never seen before as he eyes his childhood home in Haddonfield, Illinois. With that in mind, let's break down and rank his most brutal fatalities as he looks to connect with his past.

7. Michael Myers Kills a Fireman With a Chainsaw

The movie picks up where 2018's Halloween left off as Michael emerges from the fire of the Strode compound. Firefighters are outside, stunned that he's alive, and the slasher begins fighting them. It's somewhat comical, evoking the slapstick style of '70s and '80s horrors as they try to hose him down or attack with an axe. And as he kills them, he takes a chainsaw from one first responder and slices him up from the chest, reminding us how merciless he is.

6. Michael Stabs Marcus Through the Eye

When Tommy arranges for a mob to hunt Michael down, Marcus and his beloved Vanessa join up, but it goes awry as Michael attacks their van near a park. He kills almost everyone, and on the inside, as Marcus tries to strangle the slasher with a stethoscope, Myers rams a knife through Marcus' eye and into his skull. He's left gurgling blood, with Michael then putting a pumpkin mask on Marcus' head to homage Season of the Witch.

5. Michael Myers Kills an Unsuspecting Elderly Couple

Michael's earlier murders finds him invading an old couple's home. There, he smashes Phil's head into the wall and then takes a fluorescent bulb, breaks it and impales Sondra's throat. As she bleeds out, she watches him place her husband belly first over the dining table, all before ramming several knives into the man's back. It's cruel and torturous as Sondra dies seeing this unforgiving act.

4. Michael Snaps Cameron's Neck on a Staircase

At Michael's home in the finale, Allyson (Laurie's granddaughter) and Cameron rush in to find his dad, Lonnie, broken, dead and bleeding from the attic. Michael quickly blindsides and slashes them both up before taking Cameron and smashing his head through the bannister upstairs. Michael descends the stairwell, and as the teen struggles to watch his dad and Allyson in their dire states, the boogeyman snaps his neck a la Mortal Kombat.

3. Michael Myers Slices Up a Strode

When Laurie's daughter, Karen, goes upstairs in Michael's home, thinking she's seen his dead sister, the slasher emerges. She thought the mob got him a few streets away but Michael's murdered them all and secretly slipped into his old, humble abode. The masked madman ambushes her from the back, slicing up Karen the way he did his sister. It's quite emotional as a wary Laurie seems to sense her family's being gutted.

2. The Mob Causes an Innocent Man to Jump to His Death

Before the mob caught the real Michael Myers, they cornered a prisoner in the town's hospital, thinking it was him. The man's locked in a ward as Karen tries to protect him, but he jumps through the window as he knows the mob would rip him apart with their ignorance. The camera shows his brains smashed on the pavement and arm ripped off from the fall in a graphic scene, reminding us that ignorant humans can be monsters too.

1. Michael Myers Kills Big John Game of Thrones-Style

The film's gay couple, Big John and Little John, are attacked by Michael Myers as they now live in his old digs. He hides out in the home, sneaking up and slashing Big John's armpit from the back. Michael then grabs his skull, squeezes down with his inhuman power and pops the eyes out, akin to when the Mountain squashed Oberyn Martell's head in Game of Thrones. It's so brutal we don't even witness how he kills the man's lover, with Allyson later finding them next to each other romantically.

To see these brutal fatalities, Halloween Kills is now in theaters and streaming on Peacock.
