The sequel to 2018's Halloween, Halloween Kills premiered in theaters and on Peacock on Oct. 15. Following Michael Myers' murderous rampage in the previous film, Halloween Kills follows a vigilante mob looking to bring an end to the masked serial killer's reign of terror over Haddonfield, Illinois once and for all.

Directed and co-written by David Gordon Green, 2018's Halloween is the 11th film in the Halloween franchise, though serves as a direct sequel to director John Carpenter's original Halloween from 1978, ignoring the continuity of every film released in the interim. Green returned to helm Halloween Kills, which continues the story of this revised timeline. The director's planned trilogy of Halloween revival films is set to conclude with Halloween Ends, which is slated for release on Oct. 14, 2022.
