New behind-the-scene photos from Marvel Studios/Disney+'s Hawkeye provide a closer glimpse at Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop trying out her stealth archery skills.Hawkeye set photos from the upcoming show depict Steinfeld alongside her co-star Jeremy Renner in a variation of Bishop's purple and black costume, as revealed by JustJared.

Bishop debuted in 2005's Young Avengers, during a period where Clint Barton had died in the Marvel 616 Universe. Alongside Steinfeld's casting in Hawkeye, other members of the Young Avengers team have made appearances or are set to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 4 programs -- including Scott Lang's daughter Cassie (known in the comics as Stature), Billy and Tommy Maximoff (Wiccan and Speed) and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness casting Xochitl Gomez to play America Chavez.
In December 2020, Hawkeye began production, with Renner, Steinfeld and dog-actor Jolt (aka Pizza Dog) filming scenes in New York City. The series will follow Barton training Bishop to become the next Hawkeye as they fight foes like the Tracksuit Mafia and explore why Barton became the vigilante Ronin after Avengers: Infinity War. Hawkeye's storyline will use Matt Fraction and David Aja's Hawkeye comic as its main inspiration.
Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton, Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Jolt as Pizza Dog/Lucky, Vera Farmiga as Eleanor Bishop, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Fra Fee as Kazi, Tony Dalton as Jack Duquesne/Swordsman, Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez/Echo and Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez. The Disney+ series has yet to receive a premiere date.
