A new trailer for Haikyuu!! Season 4 has been released.

The trailer, which is for the fourth season of Haikyuu!!, teases some of the volleyball action fans can expect from the upcoming installment of the popular volleyball anime. Although the trailer is only in Japanese, the tension and stakes of the upcoming season are clear, as protagonist Shoyo Hinata faces more challenges following the conclusion of Season 3.

Created by Haruichi Furudate, Haikyuu!! follows Shoyo Hinata as he pursues his dreams of becoming a volleyball player. Haikyuu!! made its debut in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2012. The immensely popular manga has over 28 million copies in print across forty volumes and has consistently ranked among the highest-selling manga. In 2014, the manga was adapted into an anime. There have also been several films, video games, stage plays, radio dramas, among other media, based on the manga.

The waits between season of Haikyuu!! have been relatively long, with Season 3 finishing its run in 2016.

Haikyuu!! returns for Season 4, which is subtitled "To the Top," on January 10, 2020. The manga is available in English from Viz Media and Manga Plus.
