Gwenpool is a quirky and dynamic character. She's also one who has a tendency to get herself into the weirdest situations possible; thanks in part to her ability set. Okay, and her inclination to break the fourth wall at every given opportunity.

As such, Gwenpool has been in a variety of fights. We want to talk about her most dramatic fights to date, and just how crazy they got. We could talk about all of the fights she's been in since she has been in several groups at this point, but instead, we're going to focus entirely on Gwenpool. And that means talking about the ones she started (or ended) during her two main series (so far! Here's hoping for more).

10 Gwenpool vs. Vincent

Vincent Doonan is, as you can probably guess from the images above – a Doombot. Or rather, he's a variant on the Doombot design. His big thing is being normal and average – all things that Gwenpool is not. That means she quickly found herself on his radar, as she broke all of the rules of the universe around him.

Their relationship actually didn't start off in a fight – but instead because he wanted to hire her. You can imagine how quickly that went south! Naturally, that led to an iconic fight between Gwenpool and Vincent. However, Gwen did have her ragtag group of allies backing her up.

9 Gwenpool vs. Ms. Marvel

In Gwen's most recent comic book run, Gwenpool Strikes Back, Gwen came up with a crazy string of plans in order to keep her series relevant and alive. Somehow, that resulted in her bringing a bunch of iconic Marvel heroes into one location and asking them to duel it out.

In the end, that left Ms. Marvel facing off against Gwenpool. This fight didn't go exactly as expected. Actually, it didn't go at all how fans expected. But it was certainly an emotional battle, with Kamala forcing Gwen to think and face everything that she has been running from this entire time.

8 Gwenpool vs. A Very Angry Hulk

Speaking of Gwenpool Strikes Back, let's talk about another fight that occurred within those pages. In the same series of circumstances as mentioned above, Gwen managed to royally tick off the Hulk (shooting Banner in the head has that sort of effect).

That means that Gwen was forced to fight a very angry Hunk. Never smart or safe. On the bright side, Gwenpool has the ability to pull in Gwenpools from other continuities and timelines in order to back her up. Between that and their other abilities, this fight proved to be highly interested. It also resulted in Hulk getting hit in a very sensitive location. Ouch.

7 Gwenpool vs. The Squid Aliens

Okay, we know that they're actually Teuthidans, but let's be real here: Gwen never once thought to ask what they were really called. Thus, in her mind, they were Squid Aliens. And so, she was battling Squid Aliens, alongside cops and pigs (in the literal sense – there was a pig dressed like Gwenpool thrown into the mix).

This fight is perhaps the most insane and chaotic of the bunch, but that sort of fits Gwen's style, don't you think? It was certainly high on the entertainment factor for the fans, and it is perhaps the first time that Gwen realized that not all of her crazy plans work out the way she thinks they will.

6 Gwenpool vs. Her Past

So technically this is more of a metaphorical battle, but it is still a very relevant one. The truth of the matter is, Gwenpool is not originally from Earth 616. She grew up in our world – a world where the people of Earth 616 filled the pages of comic books. Given the opportunity to dive into that comic book world she loved, she didn't even stop to think about it. She just did it.

This did result in her running from her past – both literally and metaphorically. It's a plot that comes up several times. The first time, her brother (it's complicated) tries to pull her back to her own reality, only for everything to get much more complicated than ever. The second time, Gwen was forced to acknowledge who and what she is, and that resulted in her powers retconning her past to give her a home and future.

5 Gwenpool vs. Spider-Man (And Crew)

One of the more dramatic moments in The Unbelievable Gwenpool occurs when a future version of Miles Morales jumps back in time in order to stop Gwen. Stop her from what? Well...that's complicated. He came back to stop her from becoming a villain, but in trying to kill her, he very nearly set off the exact chain of events that would have resulted in her being a villain.

The fight was dramatic, not just for the battle itself, but because of everything it represented. Plus, Gwen truly didn't understand why she was being targeted – until it all clicked into place. That realization must have been a painful one. It's also a perfect example of the debate all heroes have had one time in their lives (when given access to time travel). Should they kill a villain before they become a villain, or is that the worst thing they could possibly do?

4 Gwenpool vs. Deadpool

So all fans basically knew that this fight had to happen, right? During a crazy plot arc that involved Gwen (and crew) getting ambushed and essentially kidnapped by Arcade, she ends up running up against another character. This one also happens to break the fourth wall left and right – we're obviously talking about Deadpool.

The fight that occurs is exactly what we expected. There's lots of sass and violence, with Deadpool's more experienced character having a better understanding of the situation at hand. It's a brilliant fight all around, even if we all knew that it had to happen someday. And to think it all happened because of a misunderstanding (sort of).

3 Gwenpool vs. M.O.D.O.K.

During her run on The Unbelievable Gwenpool, Gwen managed to tick off a whole lot of people (both antagonists and heroes). One of those people was MODOK himself. To be fair, that fight was a long time coming. He killed her friend, forced her to be his hench girl, and he's a villain.

The fight is one of Gwen's best fights, in many ways. It's from her more chaotic early time when she didn't yet know about her abilities (man, that fight would have gone very differently if she had those then). It does show how far she's come, and we just love that.

2 Gwenpool vs. Gwenpool

One of Gwenpools roughest fights was against herself, of all people. We mentioned earlier that there is a timeline in which Gwenpool becomes the villain. And since Gwenpool can jump around her comics on a whim, that means big Gwen could come back and have a chat (or fight) with little Gwen.

Most of this was about Gwen realizing what she was and wasn't willing to do in order to stay alive in this new universe of hers. She drew a line in the sand and made the promise to herself to keep it. But there's also some fun fighting, with a heavy dash of Gwenpool's abilities being thrown all over the place.

1 Gwenpool vs. Cancellation

Finally, Gwenpool's understanding of her existence within the comic book world opened up a unique opportunity. She knew when she had been canceled, and it's something she fought so hard against. It was heartbreaking to see, while also giving room to talk about sales numbers and comic cancellations.

Gwen has fought against two series conclusions so far. The first was at the end of The Unbelievable Gwenpool, and the second was basically the entire run of Gwenpool Strikes Back – during which she desperately fought to keep her numbers up in order to keep herself alive.
