Put the kids to bed and cover up - GWAR is coming back to comics, and the most violent band in the world is.

Co-written by GAWAR and Matt Minerwith art by Jonathan Brandon Sawyer, "GWAR: Orgasmageddon" will be released this summer by Dynamite Entertainment. "Banished to the past by the cold and calculating Mr. Perfect, the heroes of GWAR trample through time like a deranged Bill & Ted on bath salts," the book's official description reads. "Antics ensue as they stomp and smash and shape human history to what we accept as our current reality."

"It's awesome to have a comic coming out! We had some in the 90's, but it's about time we got back into the comic book world," Sawborg Destructo (aka Matt Maguire) said in a statement. "When Matt Miner and I first talked, everything clicked and I knew we were going to do a cool project. It was really cool to see all the support from the fans who pledged money to Kickstarter. We knew people wanted to see more GWAR comics, so it was great to reach our goal. We can't wait to show all of the amazing work that is being generated for this comic! With Dynamite in our corner, it's gonna be a big book!"

As for what GWAR fans should expect from the band's latest comic book adventure, Destructo didn't mince words. "The blood... maybe the story... but mostly the blood. Oh, did we mention that Slymenstra Hymen is gonna be in it? And oh yeah -- blood!"
