WARNING: The following contains major spoilers for Gunpowder Milkshake, now available on Netflix.

Gunpowder Milkshake does not skimp on the blood, delivering plenty of fight scenes and kills. Many of the most notable ones have Sam or the librarians to get creative, and this includes the death of man behind Emily's kidnapping, as his murder somewhat makes Sam a vampire slayer.

Sam (Karen Gillan) is sent by her boss, Nathan (Paul Giamatti), to get his money back, leading to her finding Emily's father (Samuel Anderson) hiding out. While he tries to explain his situation, things escalate, with Emily (Chloe Coleman) shooting him. Immediately afterward, Sam realizes he took the money because his daughter is being held hostage. Drawing the line at endangering kids, the assassin takes the dad to a doctor in hopes of saving his life; however, as revealed late in Gunpowder Milkshake, he dies.

Meanwhile, she does not return the money to Nathan and his compatriots. Instead she takes it to the bowling alley to pay off the kidnappers, hoping to steal it back once she gets Emily out of their hands. After beating the boneheads -- Nathan's henchmen -- she meets the kidnappers, a group of men in Halloween masks. The deal is made, and as soon as Emily is out of their reach, Sam pursues them.

Despite her intending to get the money by any means necessary, this doesn't necessarily happen. In Sam's favor, the kidnappers betray each other, with one man -- the guy in the Frankenstein mask -- attempting to shoot the mastermind, who's wearing a Dracula mask, but he shoves the gun out of the way, killing their driver. The car crashes, with the fire killing the fourth kidnapper.

Emily walks in on this and is taken by surprise, but things proceed to get stranger, as Frankenstein attempts to shoot Dracula once more, but he runs out of ammunition. Dracula then shoots him dead, but not before Frankenstein can release the pin of his grenade, blowing himself up with the money.

Without the money, Sam cannot return to Nathan, as he already disapproved of her handing it off for Emily, even when she promised to get the money back once the child was safe. Now, she has no insurance that he will protect her, which is especially bad with the Russians already wanting her dead.

Out of anger, Sam confronts Dracula, broken mop handle in hand. While Dracula tries to kill her, he is no match for Sam, as she plunges the handle into his chest, blood going everywhere. Compared to some of the other kills and fights in Gunpowder Milkshake, like Florence (Michelle Yeoh) killing several men with a chain, Anna May (Angela Bassett) duel wielding hammers and Madeline (Carla Gugino) firing off a machine gun in the basement of the library, this kill doesn't stand out on a bombastic level.

However, with the kidnapper wearing a vampire mask, that makes the kill one of the strangest, as Sam literally stakes him like she's Van Helsing. Plus, watching the kidnappers turn on themselves is equally bizarre, as it seemed like this was going to be another major fight scene for Sam; although, there are plenty of other brutal kills in Netflix's Gunpowder Milkshake, and this dead vampire is just one of those.
