When it comes to big Marvel films, some directors have had a hard time with the hands-on approach of working on a major franchise. Luckily for director James Gunn, working with the characters and out-of-this-world concepts of "Guardians of the Galaxy," he has a lot more freedom.
Gunn recently addressed the extent of his creative control, clarifying that the ideas for his "Guardians" films -- including those for the post-credit scenes, like the Howard the Duck cameo -- come from him.
