Legendary director Guillermo del Toro is getting the action figure treatment thanks to NECA Toys.

The figure, which was unveiled by Entertainment Weekly, will be a Comic-Con International in San Diego exclusive and limited to just 2,000 figures. The figure is part of the company’s Guillermo del Toro Signature Collection, which also features figures of Santi from The Devil’s Backbone and Pale Man and Faun from Pan’s Labyrinth.

The limited-edition Del Toro figure will be available for purchase at the NECA booth at SDCC this July, and will cost $40 USD. It comes with a replica of the notebook that the director used while working on Pan’s Labyrinth. As shown in the photos below, there's even a scaled down page that displays some of the content inside.

In a statement to EW, Randy Falk, director of product development at NECA, expressed his excitement over getting to bring the director to life in action figure form. "His kind of vision and attention to details is genuinely inspirational," he said, "and this figure is our way of thanking him for allowing us to be a part of that."

Following his Oscar win for The Shape of Water, Del Toro has lined up a slew of new projects, including a horror anthology at Netflix, which he'll produce, as well as an adaption of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, which he'll co-write.
