The music for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has already been chosen, according to James Gunn.When asked whether Gunn has already chosen the songs that'll be included in Vol. 3 on Twitter, the director replied that the songs have been picked. Like the movie's music, little is know about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. However, the director has teased that both Kraglin and Rocket will have a larger role than in past films and that a character will meet their maker before the credits roll.

However, before Gunn can get to work on Vol. 3, he has to finish DC's The Suicide Squad. The film is currently in the middle of post-production, with Gunn predicting that the film will hit its Aug. 6, 2021 release date despite the coronavirus outbreak.

Written and directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 currently has no release date. The film is expected to begin production in February 2021.
