No, GotG Vol. 2’s Home Release Doesn’t Include 80 Minutes of Cut Scenes

At this year’s Comic-Con International, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star Michael Rooker spoke about the upcoming home release of the film. One of the comments he made suggested that, when the film hits DVD & Blu-Ray later this year, there will be a massive eighty minutes of unseen footage. According to director James Gunn, though, Rooker’s comments were incorrect.

Though the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 home release won’t have eighty minutes of unseen footage, it will include eighty minutes of behind-the-scenes extras.

The film will be available on digital release August 8 and on Blu-ray and DVD August 22.
