GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY
There's at least one actor who's interested in playing Rocket Raccoon in James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy" film. While speaking with MovieWeb, "The Walking Dead" actor Michael Rooker mentioned he might be interested in the role should Marvel and the fans express interest.
"I know that James Gunn is doing it. He is directing it, and he is re-writing it," Rooker told MovieWeb. "He is a very loyal director. He is a very loyal writer, when it comes to working with people that he knows and loves. He really appreciates the efforts that each actor puts into these roles. And I would be very honored and pleased to work with James Gunn again...Whether it will happen or not, I don't know. But he is a dynamite guy, and we have remained friends ever since we worked together on 'Slither.'
"I haven't done much research on it at all yet. Because I don't know what is going to happen. I'm really crazy busy with 'The Walking Dead' right now. But you know what? Write this up. Tweet the fuck out of it. If the fans want me as Rocket Raccoon, Marvel will listen to you guys, I think, sometimes...Perhaps I will be lucky and blessed enough to go in there, and go at it with Mr. Gunn again, who knows?"
How cool would it be to have Merle Dixon as Rocket Raccoon?

While speaking with ShockTilYouDrop, Guillermo del Toro gave a very brief update on the status of the "Hulk" television show, which has gotten somewhat overshadowed by Joss Whedon's "S.H.I.E.L.D." television show.
"Right now all I know is the official word I was given is that there's a writer they want. They are very interested in me meeting with him. He's very, very busy," del Toro told ShockTilYouDrop. "The official word is we are holding, but I don't know... After 'Avengers' having the success it had, perhaps the fate of the project may change. Right now officially what I know -- and I'm not hiding anything off the record or anything -- is that we were told we were waiting for this writer, and we were going to do it with him."
Disney UK has posted a new international trailer for "Wreck-It Ralph." New footage abound!

Remember David E. Kelley's never-picked-up "Wonder Woman" television show? Star Adrienne Palicki does. While speaking with Crave Online, Palicki reflects on her brief time as the Amazon princess.
"I'm incredibly proud of that project. I was so grateful to get to play Wonder Woman," Palicki told Crave Online. "That was a childhood dream of mine and I'm proud of the outcome. I do wish it would have gone to series but everything happens for a reason. Looking at it as a positive, I got to work with some amazing actors, [an] amazing writer and I got to wear the outfit. It was not comfortable but it was totally worth it."
The actress further said the fact that "Wonder Woman" wasn't picked up following the pilot was "shocking" and she didn't realize the show hadn't gotten picked up until they got the call.
"There were obviously politics involved," she said. "It had gotten picked up as far as I knew so when we got that call it was incredibly shocking. We were set up to go to Jimmy Kimmel and everything else so it was a real shock. It was hard to take at first."
