It's Taserface! Guardians of the Galaxy Designer Shares Early Concept Art

Guardians of the Galaxy

New concept art from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 shows a very different looking Taserface than what we got in the film.

"I did a bunch of sketch for the character exploring different looks," Guardians of the Galaxy concept artists Jerad S. Marantz wrote on Instagram. "The final design was done by my friend @anthony_francisco_art."

Compared to the design seen in the film, Marantz's art presents a much more put-together, menacing and sleek Taserface. Perhaps Rocket may have held back his laughter had the character looked like this.

Marantz's Instagram is full of other sketches and early art designs, including different looks for Swamp Things' Swamp Thing and Blue Devil, and Avengers: Infinity War's Corvus Glaive and the Outriders.

Written and directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is out now on Digital HD from Amazon Video and iTunes and on DVD and Blu-ray. The movie stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, Sean Gunn, Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell.
