It will be the second Marvel Studios Special Presentation released as part of the MCU, the first being Werewolf by Night, which itself premiered on Disney+ earlier this year on Oct. 7. The aforementioned Gunn has described the Holiday Special as an "epilogue" to Phase Four of the MCU. Phase Four is officially slated to reach its conclusion with the theatrical release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on Nov. 11. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will then kick off Phase Five on Feb. 17, 2023.
