According to Sean Gunn, the actor that played Kraglin in the first two Guardians of the Galaxy films, the current script for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 may not be finalized.

Although Sean says he hasn't yet read the script yet, he believes his brother, writer/director James Gunn, could make some changes. "I know, you know...I think my brother may do...he may do another pass, in which case I would read that version," he told ComicBook.com.

While script changes are a common practice in filmmaking, some believe fan reactions to Avengers: Endgame could cause tweaks to already written scripts for future Marvel films. Then again, doing several script passes could also just be something that Sean is used to seeing his brother do before filming commences.

In addition to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, James is writing/directing The Suicide Squad for DC, which is set to release on Aug. 6, 2021. The film will serve as a soft reboot of 2016's Suicide Squad and will feature many cast members reprising their roles.
