In the pages of Cates' just-wrapped Cosmic Ghost Rider miniseries, a baby Thanos was raised by the eponymous spacefaring Spirit of Vengeance who will likely be on the upcoming Guardians roster. There is a good chance this new Mad Titan may be the new Thanos the team will cross paths with in their desperate bid to save the universe after the events of Infinity Wars.

Guardians of the Galaxy #2 is written by Donny Cates and illustrated by Geoff Shaw. It is scheduled to go on sale this February from Marvel Comics.
