Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition received an official age rating in South Korea, potentially confirming the collection's rumored release.

A South Korean video game content rating board known as Game Rating and Administration Committee database (GRAC), added the long-rumored collection to its database, rating the game "18 or unavailable for youth." The entry was discovered and posted on Reddit earlier today, leaving fans optimistic that the collection will soon be released.

One Redditor stated, "Nothing more definitive than the game being rated. A reveal must be happening soon." This was followed up by another comment suggesting the trilogy may be announced as part of the upcoming 20-year anniversary of Grand Theft Auto III on Oct. 22, during which Rockstar Games promised it has "fun surprises to share."

It has long been rumored that Rockstar Games will release Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition, a collection that will remaster three games from the series' PlayStation 2 era: Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas. The remastered games will reportedly feature a combination of "new and old" graphics, which will be achieved through Unreal Engine.

With Rockstar Games recently announcing that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S ports of GTA V would be delayed to March 2022, it does seem feasible that the company shifted its focus to the nostalgic collection. However, the release has not been officially confirmed by Rockstar Games.
