Greg Grunberg Returns For 'Heroes Reborn'

Greg Grunberg will reprise his role as telepathic cop Matt Parkman on "Heroes Reborn."

According to Entertainment Weekly, he'll have a guest arc in NBC's 13-episode revival of the 2006 superpowers drama, joining fellow "Heroes" veterans Masi Oka as Hiro Nakamura, Jack Coleman as Noah Bennet and Jimmy Jean-Louis as the Haitian.

Grunberg's recent credits include "Masters of Sex" and "Criminal Minds," not to mention an undisclosed role in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," directed by childhood friend J.J. Abrams.

No plot details have been revealed about "Heroes Reborn," which will air Thursday's at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The limited-run series also stars Zachary Levi, Kiki Sukezane, Ryan Guzman, Robbie Kay, Danika Yarosh, Judith Shekoni, Henry Zebrowski and Gatlin Green.
