Greg Grunberg Moves From Heroes To Love Bites

Heroes co-star Greg Grunberg already has landed on his feet, becoming a series regular on NBC's new one-hour comedy anthology Love Bites.

Vulture reports that Grunberg guest-starred in the show's pilot as an Average Joe who gets a shot at joining the Mile High Club with Jennifer Love Hewitt. His performance in the segment so impressed Love Bites creator Cindy Chupack and President of Primetime Entertainment Angela Bromstad that Grunberg will now be one of at least two actors who appear in each episode.

The romantic comedy anthology features three loosely connected stories of love, sex, marriage and dating. Becki Newton (Ugly Betty) and Jordana Spiro (My Boys) star as Annie and Frannie, "the last two single girls standing after all of their friends get married." Their story anchors the series, with other "romantically challenged characters" coming and going each week. Newton will continue as a series regular, but Vulture reports that it's unclear whether Spiro's commitment to TBS' My Boys will permit her to appear every week.
