Artist Greg Capullo teased his follow-up to DC's Dark Nights: Metal with some new pieces of artâand a possible name reveal.Since the highly successful Dark Nights: Metal by Scott Snyder and Capullo opened up a whole new world in the DC universe, fans have been eagerly awaiting what comes next. While the details on the sequel to the book/event are still quite scarce, Capullo took to Twitter to offer up two teases for the upcoming project. Check them out:
Obviously, Capullo is unlikely to get fired for sharing the sketch of the Cthulhu-like Batman as he jokes, and fans are sure to be excited about getting a proper look at the rough art for the series. Meanwhile, given the hashtag used in Capullo's first tweet, it's possible that the title of the sequel will be "Death Metal."
Of course, this isn't our only look at the upcoming book. Snyder recently shared a Wonder Woman-themed teaser for the sequel, with the Amazonian wielding a Lasso-of-Truth-infused chainsaw. Naturally, the follow-up is going to be every bit as wild as its predecessor.
