"Green Lanterns," in Infinite Frontier #0, by Geoffrey Thorne and Dexter Soy, spotlights The Emerald Knights' return to their homeworld. Traveling through space, John Stewart and Simon Baz sit in the front of their ship. Sitting in the back is Keli Quintela, aka Teen Lantern. Keli is brushing up on her Green Lantern history, as John wants to prepare her to meet the Guardians of the Universe. Simon is a bit confused about who Teen Lantern is, but John clarifies that the Guardians will want to meet her, considering the strange circumstances behind her powers. John further details that, since the galaxy's greatest powers are coming together as the United Planets, the Guardians need all hands on deck to consider their place in the galaxy.

Keli is an especially important factor, as the Guardians will have to decide what to do with her. Before any further discussion, Keli joins her fellow lanterns at the front of the ship, as they have arrived on Oa. All Keli can do is marvel at the Green Lanterns' homeworld.

Keli joined John after their initial meeting in Young Justice #20, by Brian Michael Bendis and David Walker. Following a team-up between Young Justice and the Justice League, John kindly asked Keli to give him her power gauntlet. The Green Lantern told Keli that the power wasn't hers, and she needed to return it. Keli refused, however, and when they met three days later, things took a more aggressive turn.

John told Keli how dangerous and illegal the alien tech she possessed really was, claiming it shouldn't exist in the first place. This is because Keli doesn't even possess a power ring like most Green Lanterns. Instead, Teen Lantern wields a gauntlet that has an external battery, which apparently hacks into the Green Lanterns' power source. This weapon was bestowed upon Keli by a dying alien, who she mistook for an actual Green Lantern. Despite the strange means by which Keli procured her powers, she still claimed that she earned her abilities. Young Justice backed their teammate, forcing John to relent. The Green Lantern said she still needed training, with Keli agreeing to meet with him later.

Now, as Keli is taken under John's wing, she seems very eager to embrace everything that comes with being a Green Lantern. On the way to Oa, Teen Lantern studies her Green Lantern history very intently, showing a great interest. When Keli is called to the front of the ship, she even seems disappointed, saying that she was just about to reach "the part about the crisis." By the time the Green Lanterns reached Oa, Keli is in sheer awe, appearing very excited about her involvement with the Green Lantern Corps. All of this enthusiasm lends itself well to Keli's earlier statements in Young Justice when she told John about how being a lantern gave her a real purpose for the first time.

It's one thing for Keli to find purpose by fighting alongside her fellow heroes in Young Justice, yet in joining the Green Lantern Corps, Teen Lantern is becoming part of a galaxy-spanning group. The corps shares Teen Lantern's power and its accompanying responsibility. By bringing her to Oa, John Stewart is giving Keli a purpose that reaches across the cosmos. In potentially joining the Green Lantern Corps, Teen Lantern has entered a new world of possibilities.
