Green Lantern, Judge Dredd, Xerxes: July 22nd Comic Reel

Pietro Filipponi provides Comic Book Movie with a look at former Green Lantern Abin Sur:

The character is on display at the Warner Bros booth at Comic-Con.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, release date: June 17th, 2011

Our old friend at Bleeding Cool hears word of Karl Urban taking the Law into his hands as the new lower face of Judge Dredd. "One of the main provisos of the deal is that, just as in the comic, Judge Dredd will not remove his helmet. But of course that chin will now be seen in glorious three dimensions. And, contract willing, Karl Urban is of a mind to accept it," he writes. Of course, there no official word on Urban's status within Megacity-1.

Release date: TBA

Zack Snyder is on for the film, according to the Los Angeles Times Hero Complex blog. "We closed the writing deal on 'Xerxes.' We started writing about a week ago," the director tells Hero Complex. So, he's actually on to write, but what about directing? "It's really going to depend on what the studio wants to do and what we do when we finish; I don't have a directing deal in place but we are writing it, so call it intent," he says.

Release date: TBA

MTV News has a new clip from the film featuring Scott and Ramona:

Starring Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, release date: August 13th 2010

MTV News also has a few new photos from the direct to video sequel:

They also talk with creator Steven Niles about the project. "The '30 Days of Night' vampire universe, there's a lot that can be done with it - even outside the lead characters. If we're able to do the third direct-to-DVD, 'Return to Barrow,' we'll be getting back to the original setting and concept of night in Alaska, but this time they're ready. It's like 'Aliens,' because this time they're armed. It's going to be a giant vampire war, so if we can get the budget to pull that off, it could be really cool," he says of a possible third installment.

Release date: October 5th, 2010

Check out Odin's Throne thanks to Hero Complex:

The throne is on display at Comic-Con, somewhere Marvel related.

Starring Chris Hemsworth, release date: May 6th, 2011

Michael Ausiello at Entertainment Weekly tells a reader, "Clark's getting a new partner at the Daily Planet this season, and she's got some major DC Comics cred. The character's name is Cat Grant." The Daily Planet denizen is coming to the show as a "comedic foil" for Clark.

Returns: September 24th, 2010
