Concept artist Jerad Marantz revealed a never-before-seen early Parallax design from 2011's Green Lantern.

"Early concept for Parallax/Krono’s for the Green Lantern movie," Marantz wrote on Instagram. "Obviously this piece a while ago so I don’t remember the specifics. Good times."

Marantz's design shows Parallax being attached to someone or something, resembling an undead parasite. The onscreen version is a menacing force with volume and mass, terrorizing the universe. In this design, Parallax comes off like the shell of a former being floating space, with its sickly yellow appearance and web-like appendages. His body resembled a corpse with its skeletal arms and exposed ribs.
