Dynamite Entertainment has published the adventures of the Green Hornet for 10 years, and to celebrate, the company is launching an all-new series featuring the iconic pulp hero by Scott Lobdell, Anthony Marques and Taylor Esposito.

"One of the most fun parts of Green Hornet is the way the character lends itself to any kind of story," Lobdell said in a statement. "Noir. Superhero. Action-Adventure. Buddy Comedy. Sci-Fi. Urban Horror. We're doing a series that combines all those elements into one epic saga. I think a lot of people are going to put these books down and say 'Damn, they got a lot of story into this issue!"

The new series will see the Green Hornet stumble upon an alien baby and attempt to keep it safe.

"The world is going to change for the Green Hornet and Kato in a huge way!" Marques added. "Scott has crafted a Green Hornet story unlike any other and I'm so excited to be the one who gets to draw it! Everyone is putting in the work to deliver not only the best Green Hornet series but the best comic series available today!"

Along with the announcement, Dynamite also unveiled cover art for Issue #1 by Lee Weeks, Marques, Dave Johnson, Mike McKone, Leonardo Romero and Walter Geovani.

Lobdell is not the only high profile writer to tackle the adventures of the Green Hornet. Kevin Smith helped develop an ongoing series based on a script he wrote about the Hornet's son, and Mark Waid wrote Green Hornet: Year One, which chronicled Britt Reid's transformation into the Hornet.

Green Hornet #1, by Scott Lobdell, Anthony Marques and Taylor Esposito, goes on sale in June from Dynamite Entertainment.
