The upcoming Arrow spinoff Green Arrow and the Canaries will also include another character from the 2040 storyline.
According to TVLine, actor Charlie Barnett, who portrays the son of John and Lyla Diggle and the future Deathstroke, will appear in the backdoor pilot episode.
The new series, which will be set up in an episode of Season 8 of Arrow written by Beth Schwartz, Marc Guggenheim, Jill Blankenship and Oscar Balderrama, will see Katherine McNamara, Katie Cassidy and Juliana Harkavy all reprise their roles as they usher in the next chapter of the Arrowverse.
In October, Arrow co-creator Marc Guggenheim shared a Green Arrow and the Canaries promo poster spotlighting the new Green Arrow Mia Smoak, as well as the two Canaries, Laurel Lance and Dinah Drake.
Airing Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Rick Gonzalez as Wild Dog, Juliana Harkavy as Black Canary, Katie Cassidy as Black Siren, Katherine McNamara as Mia Smoak, Joseph David-Jones as Connor Hawke and Ben Lewis as William Clayton-Queen.
