While discussing "Predators" with Capone of Ain't It Cool News, Robert Rodriguez made an interesting comment about the fate of a "Sin City" sequel. "I'm trying to and I might be getting my own financing so that I could do that, because that way you don't have to wait for a studio and have them cry poor," he says. He subsequently hammers this point about financing a couple more times. Is it possible no established studio wants to pay for "Sin City 2?" He does offer a solution regarding his own Troublemaker Studios. "The next step is Troublemaker studios will have it's own financing so that it can just turn around and greenlight something, and we can just say 'We want to make that, let’s just make it.' We will ask ourselves for permission," the director suggests.

And since I've mentioned "Predators," Collider has an interview with actors Walton Goggins and Adrian Brody. Goggins talked a bit about his anti-preparation for his role in the film. "I guess my preparation was almost the antithesis of Adrien's in that this is a guy who's probably never been in the woods, much less the jungle, so it was a matter of, he has Stan Smith high top Converse prison-issued tennis shoes on and all of it's weird. His walk is weird. You know, just walking for miles, that's crazy. I was in a cell yesterday. This doesn't make sense. So it was, my physical preparation was the lack of physical preparation, which was really interesting for me as an actor. That's never happened before," says the actor.

Starring Walton Goggins, release date: July 9th, 2010

According to JoBlo.com (via Spinoff Online), director Michelle Maclaren may be directing an episode of the series. Maclaren has directed episodes of AMC's Breaking Bad.
