USA Network's adaptation of Aldous Huxley's famous novel, Brave New World, has found its lead actor in Solo: A Star Wars Story star, Alden Ehrenreich. The series is set to hit the small screen in 2020 and is being written by the famed comic author, Grant Morrison, as well as Brian Taylor and David Wiener.

In addition to playing Han Solo, Ehrenreich is known for roles in Blue Jasmine, Hail, Caesar! and Rules Don't Apply. This will be his first starring role in a television series, though he's made appearances on Supernatural and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

The original novel was released in 1932 and is set in a futuristic version of the world with an intelligence-based hierarchy. The novel landed 5th place on the Modern Library publishing company's list of the 100 best English-language novels of the 20th century.

While originally developed at Syfy, Brave New World is reported to premiere on the NBCU streaming platform, which will release in 2020.

This will be Grant Morrison's second venture running a television show. Morrison and Taylor's Syfy show, Happy!is currently in its second season.

David Wiener (Fear the Walking Dead) and Brian Taylor join Morrison as confirmed writers for Brave New World. Morrison and Wiener will also executive produce the series, alongside Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey of Amblin Television and Owen Harris (Black Mirror).
