As The CW's "The Flash" speeds towards its upcoming season 1 finale, it's become clear that the show is a runaway hit and has made a legitimate star out of its lead, Grant Gustin. Despite the success, if a recent Facebook post Gustin wrote is any indication, he's not letting the sudden fame go to his head.

The post (via Comic Book Movie) was ostensibly Gustin promoting the season finale's trailer, but it quickly became an extended thank you to the show's fans and crew. "AGAIN, I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for tuning in to our show all season and making it the hit that it has become. Every time I stop and think about the fact that I get to play The Flash and Barry Allen and there are people out there that love our show... I can't even fully explain it to be honest. It almost feels like I'm watching it happen to someone else at times. I will always feel grateful for getting to do what I love to do and now I have all of you to thank for helping me get to do that..."

He went on to thank individual crew members (including Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and Geoff Johns), and listed off nearly every actor who has appeared on the show. "I realize that's a long list of people," he wrote, "but for me being relatively 'new' to the business and having never been a regular [on] a show before, getting to work with all of those actors and watching them help bring our show to life always made it feel like that much more of an authentic world to me."
